UNGM
The United Nations Global Marketplace - UNGM - is the procurement portal of the UN System. It brings together UN procurement staff and the supplier community. The United Nations, represents a global market of over USD 10 billion annually for all types of goods and services.
The UNGM acts as a single window, through which potential suppliers may register with the 21 UN Agencies using the UNGM as their supplier roster. These agencies account for 95% of the total UN procurement spend, the UNGM therefore provides an excellent springboard to introduce your goods and services to many UN organizations, countries and regions by only completing one registration form.
The UNGM also enables suppliers to keep abreast of upcoming tender opportunities and by now subscribing to the
tender alert service
receive relevant tender notices directly in their e-mail.
UNGM Provides a Tender Alert Service which automatically identifies sutable opportunities for your company from all the procurement notices posted on UNGM.
Every day, UNGM searches for the keywords and UNCCS codes that you specify, identifies relevant notices and emails them straight to you.
UN Agencies and their procurement staff use the UNGM to administer their supplier rosters, exchange information and tender notices of upcoming bidding opportunities. Further the UNGM facilitates the interchange of supplier information within the UN system as information is made available to all UN organizations, and it acts as an important procurement tool to shortlist suppliers for competitive bidding.
Please note, that while the UNGM is accessible to all UN and World Bank procurement staff, organizations not listed above have their own supplier database. Therefore, it is important that potential suppliers register with these agencies separately. For links to other UN organizations please see this
